Vic Coscarelli’s love of animals took off in 2010 when he found a stray pup needing help. Driven to learn how to train his newfound companion, Vic explored every avenue available – from books and DVDs on the subject to apprenticeships with experienced trainers – becoming increasingly passionate about teaching these creatures their own language despite an inability for them to understand human words. His devotion led him down the path of dog ownership and eventually business ownership as well!
Vic Coscarelli, Owner/Trainer Lake Norman
Vic Coscarelli is a passionate professional dog trainer who was first inspired to pursue his craft in 2012. He grew up in small-town Michigan and ventured southward to Mooresville, NC where he graduated from Mitchell Community College before matriculating at UNCC. Surprisingly, it wasn’t academic studies that set him on the path of becoming an expert canine specialist – but instead, fate intervened when he stumbled upon a stray pup during university life!
Mairead Wyatt, Trainer Western NC
Mairead is a dedicated and approachable dog trainer based in Morganton, NC, proudly serving clients throughout Western North Carolina. Growing up in Troutman, North Carolina, Mairead always had a deep love for dogs. After graduating from Appalachian State University and adopting a rescue, she became interested in dog behavior and communication. She began exploring dog training methods online, watching videos and practicing with her rescue Pitbull mix.
In 2021, Mairead welcomed a German Shepherd puppy into her life, which pushed her interest in training into something deeper and more intentional. After completing a training program with Divine Canine, she ended up shadowing and mentoring under Vic. Mairead then made the leap from a full-time career in the spirits industry to work with dogs full time, and continues to pursue new training knowledge through online programs and social media.
Mairead brings patience, empathy, and enthusiasm to every session, meeting dogs and their humans where they are and guiding them toward lasting results.
